- Download and unpack the archive.
- Choose your cursor size (see below)
- Copy the folder of your choice to ~/.icons
- Use gnome-tweaks (or whatever your system has) to choose your new mouse cursor theme.
There are different cursor sizes depending on your display:
- BitplaneCursor-1k for Low-Res-Displays up to 1024x768 pixels
- BitplaneCursor-2k for HD-Displays up to 1920x1200 pixels
- BitplaneCursor-4k for UHD-Displays
I found that automatic sizing does not work very well, so I decided to go for different folders, so you have to manually choose the appropriate size depending on your display (and personal perferences).
